Found in the pre-publication legal review. This is a judgement call, not a defect — consent is present, since it is the data subject himself.

Evidence: README.md:11 — "Oci is borrowed from the Ocicats — the cats of Brenno de Winter". COMPLIANCE.md:55 — "Primary contact | Brenno de Winter". Against that, COMPLIANCE.md:38 deliberately withholds the foundation own address: "see the foundation own registration; not reproduced here".

Why this is worth weighing: the asymmetry is striking. The natural person is fully identified including an external biography that LibreKAT does not control, while the legal person carrying the liability withholds its address. Under the revised product liability directive the publishing legal entity is where a claim belongs; the current presentation invites people to knock on the person door instead.

Proposal: keep the name — the etymology is charming and true — but remove the Wikipedia link or move it to AUTHORS.md, and add the foundation registered address to COMPLIANCE.md AU.01.

Half done in #653, and the remaining half is yours.

Done: the Wikipedia biography moved from README.md to AUTHORS.md, and AUTHORS.md now names Stichting LibreKAT as publisher and as the party to address, pointing at COMPLIANCE.md and SECURITY.md. The name itself stays on the front page — the etymology is true and it is charming, and your own issue said so.

Open, and I will not invent it: the registered address in COMPLIANCE.md AU.01. That field now reads to be filled in by the foundation with a link back here, rather than the earlier evasion ("see the foundation's own registration; not reproduced here"). Making the gap visible seemed better than dressing it up, since the whole point of your finding is the asymmetry between a fully-identified person and a vague legal entity.

Leaving this open until that address is in.
